When using
Polipo you may encounter connection problems. If so check the logfile. If there is
Refusing connection from unauthorised net your problem most likely is just a configuration issue.
You need to add your IP address with which you access the proxy to setting
allowedClients in
/etc/polipo/config. It may be 127.0.0.1 or additionally 192.168.0.1, 169.254.1.1 or whatever your IP address is. Restart polipo to make the changes take effect and you should be done with it.
